Yeah, keep making datalogs like that and we'll watch over everything. I made some changes to the temp compensations, and some small adjustments to the ignition tables for the knock. Take this one for the same type of drive and we'll take a look at it.

New datalog. Feels good, only a single knock on shift. I'll be sure to grab some good pulls tonight when the temp and roads calm down.

Sounds good. I’m out tuning another car right now, when I get back I’ll look it over. Sounds like we’re on the right track though which is good!

Made some changes for the knock. Give this one a run and we'll see how it looks, everything still looks good.

No stress, new datalog. The heatwave up here is finished, these logs will represent more of a normal day for iat temps. The car definitely likes the colder temps.

Looks good. Still some stubborn knock, so I pulled so more timing for it. We'll see how it looks on this one. What is the ambient temperature during these datalog in your latest post?

Here is the next one.

The ambient temp was 20C in the latest logs. Usually doesn't go higher than 25-28C, during the heatwave it averaged 32C.

Gotcha, okay. That's not too bad then, the intake temps were 30-37c so that's not bad. With the intake you have, the hotter months will bring fairly warm temps, but it runs good for sure. I am getting good with Celsius, I've worked with so many people in Canada and Europe now I am learning the language. Haha. Still need some work on my MPH to KMH conversion in my head, some day I'll get there.

New datalog. Ye exactly not bad for a SRI, it's actually an AEM V2 from a rsx-s that I fabbed to fit in the 8th gen. My buddy gave it for free so I figured why not. The car feels very nice, I don't see myself changing the intake as my eventual plan is to go turbo but I need to do brakes and tires before even thinking of going down that path.

I see, so it has the 2 stepped size pipe? Does it go back by the header, or did you move the battery and it's behind the headlight?

Made some changes for the knock some more. Trying to creep up on it, hopefully we're there now.

Yes, it's 3.5" necked down to 3". I'm on the stock TB at the moment, j35/j37 TB is a future plan, as well as port the rbc. I have it back by the header in the stock location, I was thinking of that turning it down but was afraid of hydrolock.

Interesting. Yeah it definitely works. Temps aren’t too bad, but it definitely works. I’ve never works with a 1320 header either. It must be the combo of parts you have. I’ve never had a car demand the 40* cam angle out to redline. Most setups like yours finish on the 30* cam, less mods down to 0-15*.

Whatever TB you get, be sure to port match the TB inlet side. When you do the ported RBC and TB, you might throw RDX injectors in there at the same time. You will probably be above 90* duty cycle at that point, maybe near 100% on the stock injectors.

I think that's it, no knock in 45 mins of datalogging! Thank you for all the help the cars running amazing, it rips like hell haha. Do you have a Paypal by chance? You deserve a beer or something.

The 1320 is essentially a plm v2 or ktuned but the test pipe holes are oval so it bolts right up to the 3" fullrace, they all replicate a SSR design. My elevation might also play a factor as it averages about 3-400 feet but can go as low as 50.

Great news! Just looked over the datalogs and they look solid. Really glad you're happy with it man. The combo definitely works, this one was a lot of fun to work on. I'll shoot you a PM with my email if you really want to send a few bucks.

The knock you see only takes some simple adjustments to get rid of. Not sure what your goal with the AFR is. How many revisions have you made now?

I do a few things different in the tunes now over the file you have. If you want we can tune yours completely for your car, or make adjustments to this tune if you want. It's up to you.
Hey man,

I recently just joined the forum so I can't PM you, but I was wondering if you could help me out. I have HR CAI, Skunk2 Headers and Invidia N1 3in exhaust. Im running a tune I found on a forum and it seems to be running ok especially since im getting dyno'd in about 2 months. But I feel that the tune I have right now can be improved as it has some weird idling issues and off a cold start the rpms go up in neutral but that stops after about 2 mins. If you could help me out that would be sick. Thanks.
