Hi all, I'm looking to change the A/C throttle threshold in my 2014 Civic Hybrid. For those who don't know, the Civic Hybrid has two A/C compressors. One is a traditional belt-driven compressor, the second is fully electric. If the mechanical compressor engages during a hard acceleration, which, for my car, appears to be a throttle position of 23% or greater (according to BlueDriver), you notice an immediate loss of power and the efficiency backlight goes to full blue (inefficient).
My understanding is that Hondata allows you to change the A/C throttle threshold, that is, the throttle percentage over which the A/C clutch disengages. Is this true for the IMA hybrids as well? Are there any other A/C settings that could help?
