10Gen civic si flashpro

Post by 10thGenJate »

I’ve recently purchased a used hondata on Facebook market place from somebody and he said it was unlocked if not a shop can unlock .he sold the car about a year ago. So I took it to the shop and they said it can’t be unlocked unless you bring it to the ecu that it was married to and return it to stock or call hondata and see if they could get it unlocked. Is there a way to unlock it by speaking to somebody?

In short, no. The advice that you need the ECU it was locked to and then return to stock is correct.

So basically I spent 350$ on a brick? Hondata can’t unlock it from the serial number of the flashpro? I’m sorry I’m new to this.

To unlock the FlashPro without the ECU it is locked to is $500. If you wish to do this, let me know and I can issue an RMA# and further instructions.

Yea I’m not going to spend $500 on something I’ve spent 350$ on when brand new is 700$ . I’ve gotten scammed with this flash pro and your gonna offer a way to fix it and it’s gonna cost me an additional $500 . Sorry if I seem to be demanding or some sort but
I’m not trying to take it out on you. Any other option?

The only other option is to try to get your money back from the seller.
