2019 Honda Civic Sedan Touring CVT - Canada

Post by 4Sparty »

Hi Everyone I’m in Canada and I have a 2019 Civic Sedan Touring with the CVT.

When connected and locked the FlashPro the only option it had for the 2019 CAN CVT models is for a “Civic 1.5T Canada 2019 EX CVT” and that’s how it recognized my car.

I was able to install the “Civic-Turbo-2016-2 Tuned-High” Civic Turbo CVT 2016,+6psi High Octane but now all the Honda Sensing, CEL, and exclamation warning lights won’t go away. Car turns on and runs.

Any insights would be great.

Thank you.

I completed a data log and it didn’t say any errors, but while I was driving all the Honda Sensing errors disappeared, now the check engine light is the only thing on

Does the check engine light go off if you unplug the FlashPro?

I'll need to confirm that, it's been plugged in the entire time. Thank you for the promptly responding.

No More check engine light! Crisis averted, thank you for all the help.

I do have a follow up question, is there a page/post that outlines the differences with the calibrations?

I'm not sure what the differences are between:

1. Civic-Turbo-2016-2 Tuned-High Civic Turbo CVT 2016+,+6psi High Octane

2. Civic-Turbo-2016-2- HighOutput Civic Turbo CVT 2017+ High Ouput (91 Octane minimum)

If you plug the FlashPro back in does the check engine light come back on?

When you click the New calibration button it has a description of all the calibrations listed.

I just tested it again, no more CEL.

Thanks again for all the help.

For the Calibrations am I understanding these correctly:

1. Civic-Turbo-2016-2 Tuned-High Civic Turbo CVT 2016+,+6psi High Octane - Up to + 6 PSI depending on Fuel octane

2. Civic-Turbo-2016-2- HighOutput Civic Turbo CVT 2017+ High Ouput (91 Octane minimum) -Better performance than option 1, but can’t use fuel lower than 91 octane
