Check engine after flashing 2019 Civic Soort CVT back to stock..
Hey there, I’m a bit of new learner when it comes to vehicle tuning. I recently flashed my 2019 civic sport CVT back to the preset “factory settings” map. The next day when I went to drive the vehicle a bunch of lights came on (as expected). As I kept driving they all turned off except for my check engine light. I drove it around all day with no problems and have since reflashed it to factory settings a second time and achieved the same results. Does anybody know what might be causing this? I also noticed that every time i start my car “Factory Settinns” appears on the little screen on my dash, almost like it wants me to adjust a setting. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey bud, I'll also a newbie, but same thing happened to me when I left the device plugged into the car.
Did you unplug it after you flashed it? If you didn't, try unplugging it from the car. If you did, do a data log and see what error codes you get, there's a tab at the top that says error codes.

First off, I really appreciate you help. I just took it out for a spin and data logged my trip. I went back home and pulled up flashpro to view the error code, as soon as that dialogue box popped up, my check engine light went off and no error code was listed.. I suppose this could be chalked up to a sensor malfunction while the vehicle was resetting? Does that sound probable to you? I just want to make sure, I’m supposed to be mailing this Hondata tuner off to its next owner this afternoon 😅
Thanks again! Your’re really saving my tail.

Glad it worked.
If you’re selling it you need to make sure you revert it back to stock and unlock it from your car.
Try this, make sure your laptop is connected to the internet. You’ll need to select return ECU to stock first: https://www.hondata.com/help/flashpro/i ... ehicle.htm
