B20 non vtec - TUNE/help needed

Post by SBLAZE99 »

B20b in my 91 crx
Headers
Intake
Aem fuel rail
Skunk manifold and 70mm TB
Stock injectors.
SO I’m attempting to tune my crx, using the b20b basemap hondata offers I can still not get car to run right. I do not have a wide band currently. Just posting to see if anyone else has a similar set up or some good advice to steer me in right direction. Any help would be appreciated. Got it around the block once but it fell flat on its face hard at around 4k

You think I could get it to run well enough to drive while I wait for the wide band to come in?

I can’t help unless you have a wideband.

I can perhaps help you a bit even though we are "in the blind" without your wideband.

Open your calibration and make sure you are set to Open Loop. Look at the low speed fuel map. Make sure that your lines are arranged with as much symmetry between them as possible. Make sure that no lines cross another or seem do be in a shape that is drastically different from the one next to it. Next take a look at the low speed timing. Make sure that your timing cells have numbers that end with .25 .50 .75 or are whole numbers. If any of them have weird numbers round them either up or down. Here's an example; if you saw a timing cell with 42.17 you'd want round UP to 42.25... If you saw a cell that reads 42.60 you'd want to round that DOWN to 42.50

Making no other changes, Save your calibration and upload that to your ecu and see if there's improvement.
