Accidentally hooked up my shift light to wrong wire
So i was installing my shift light and misread what wire to install the yellow wire to. I hooked it up to the ignition pulse wire #1 on the ecu harness. My car still starts but doesn't wanna idle. Did i short something? Where would i start to fix this problem.

Its for a 04 tsx with 07-08 tsx ecu and flashpro
Re: Accidentally hooked up my shift light to wrong wire
If you damaged the ECU you will need to return the ECU to stock and unlock the FlashPro from it before replacing the ECU.

Based on what you have said, you damaged it by miss-wiring something.

I tried a new ecu and same results. So im guessing i didnt short the other ecu. I checked my fuses and everything looks good. I soldered that ylw/grn ignition coil pulse wire to have a better connection. Tried a new coil and nothing. Im thinking main relay

I would recommend you remove what you have installed and see if the problem goes away.

I removed the shift light and still not working. Tried changing
the ignition coil relay, main relays. Changed coils packs as well. Checked if i was getting power at coil plug and injectors and that checks out good as well. Was gonna try cam and crank sensors. Dont know what else to check
