Hello all, I have an 09 FA5 Civic Si
I'm currently getting tuned and I have a Sirimoto Flex Fuel Kit which utilizes the Innovate MTX-D ethanol content gauge.
The gauge itself reads varying from 9% to 10% on straight 91 pump gas, and I believe the sensor is reading the content correctly.
However, within the Hondata App and even according to my tuner, the datalogs show I am running 15% ethanol, which would be SLIGHTLY higher than what it should be. I know this 5% won't make a HUGE difference when tuning but it is bugging me. What might be causing this?
I also have already checked the ethanol voltage readings and per Hondata, for this sensor, it should be set to 0.00 for 0% and 5.00 for 100%
Thank you in advance!
Differing Ethanol Content Readings
Re: Differing Ethanol Content Readings
Post the calibration and a datalog showing the issue.
