fuel trims and canadian gas

Post by FK7_ »

Can someone take a look at this datalog please. My Long term fuel trim is sitting around -8 to -10% and I'm running Chevron 94 which is ethanol free. I noticed in flashpro options under gas there is an option for US 91 no ethanol. Should I check that box instead of the 91 with 10% ethanol? Ive heard Canadian gas is quite a bit worse than US gas but id like to try the 93 basemap as well. Thanks everyone.

10% is more than the difference between 0% ethanol and 10% ethanol (about 4% trim).

Do you have any modifications?

K&N drop in filter and that’s all. 100% stock.

Just an update. I reflashed the same 91 octane tune but switched to no ethanol in fueling rather than up to 10%. My fuel trims are now almost perfect. Long term trim sitting at around 0% to -1%. I’m not sure why there was such a huge difference but that is fixed my fuel trim problem.
