Damaged ECU - factory replacement

Post by igorien2k »

The ECU is damaged and I can no longer connect with it. I ordered a brand new factory replacement. If I ask the dealer to program the same vin as from the damaged ECU will the flashpro still need to be unmarried? Does it go by the vin or some other identifier?

That will not work as it must be unlocked from the ECU first.

What exactly has happened?

The ECU is mounted on an Ariel Atom. After coming off the track the car was really heat soaked and something on the board melted because the ECU was mounted too close to the motor

With everything plugged in and the ignition in the on position, go to the Help menu and click on “send feedback”. Include a detailed description of the issue.
