Car Wont Start/ KPro Showing 10v

Post by EGAJohn »

So I just received a Kpro v4 upgrade back from Hondata last week and finally installed it for the customer. So the car almost started a few times with the k20 basemap from Kmanager. Everything was looking good all sensor were reading so I figured it needed more cranking fuel. I added fuel and got it to start. It was running kinda poor as expected so I didn't think anything of it. After playing on the laptop a bit with the car off I went to start it again and now I noticed the rpm signal is intermittent. I look at the ECU voltage and Kmanager was showing 10.4v. I freaked out because this car never dropped that low before. I connected the charger up and let it charge for a bit to 11.8v (in Kmanager) then it started up again. I look at the voltage while idling and it's jumping erratically from 8v - 12v. I shut the car down and check the batteries with a multimeter and they are resting at 13.1v and dropping to 12.2v when cranking (two Shorai lithiums). ECU still shows 10v side by side. Checked pins A2 & A3 both show high 12v as well with ignition on. Not sure why the ECU is only showing 10v and the sensors won't read when it drops lower. This is a standalone setup in a Radical SR5 with a K20a2 all wiring done by me following Hondata diagrams.

Here's two datalogs of the car idling along with the calibration file. Take a look at the "battery" voltage.

I'm under the assumption it has to do with the wiring for the C101 connector. I tried reading this diagram but they don't exactly specify which pin does what so I'm not sure what is supposed to get 12v. Unfortunately this part was prewired for me already and I see they had 12v come from the ignition switch then it splits off into multiple pins which I'm sure is too much draw for a 24 gauge wire...

I would recommend trying the EUC in a known working vehicle first to see if it reads correctly and runs. If it does, then it sounds like there is a wiring problem in this vehicle.

I don't know anybody with a kseries unfortunately. I know it definitely has to be a wiring problem though. In a standalone setup which wires in the C101 plug need to be connected?
