PLX giving weird readings

Post by intheworks »

Iv searched and not found this issue...I have a PLX a/f box with a multi gauge that is brand new BUT doesnt work at all, power from fuse box, grounded to thermo housing and Iv tried D14 and D10 from the ecu (and of coursed changed the setting in Hondata. It reads 19 to 18 but the car is very rich (I can smell gas and under decent throttle Im getting black smoke and some flames from the hood exit). Even if I change the low fuel table the a/f reading just stays around 19 to 18. I changed the voltage output to 2 and the display a/f reading is 12 but then low table reading is 14....Im confused at why the Display A/F would be different then what is in the Low Fuel Table reading. Im probably forgetting a bunch of info needed to diagnose this...sorry

It sounds like there may be a problem with the wideband controller. Have you contacted PLX Devices about this?

Yes but I didnt see their response for a little while and they closed the ticket. I might email them again. It is an old controller.
