Just curious as how safe base maps are on a bone stock 2015 Si at 6000ft elevation. Car is a daily driver as I have something else for a project but I am wanting to just turn off ELD so that I can install bigger amp output alternator as this is a daily/audio car.
Any info on the topic would be great
How safe are base maps??
Re: How safe are base maps??
It should be safe.
Re: How safe are base maps??
Has anyone compared the stock base map to what comes on the 15’ si’s. Or is the base map just a starting point? With my Supra I run ecu masters and downloading thier base maps are complete trash and nothing really works as I got to mess with crank trigger events, diff coil packs, injectors etc.
I have a tuner up here in Colorado with a dyno Brent from PFI speed would you recommend I just wait till I get a good tune oppose to using the base map from hondata
