New Map Sensor. not boosting over 6.4 lbs

Post by kikkomon »

I have an Inline Pro built F20C with a GT3076R turbo. It has around 20,000 Miles on the components. The car finally left me stranded and I traced it to a bad map sensor. The map sensor that was installed has no writing on it but the scaler was 838 and offset was -75. I bought a new 4 bar Skunk2 map sensor and installed it and the car runs fine although the fueling seems to be a little off I set it to 838 / 31. Now the car won't boost over 6.4 lbs. It' set to 16. What's the easiest way to make this sensor work with my current calibrations? Thank you for your input.

I don't see a place to edit my post.

2001 Honda s2000
KPro 4 purchased from Inline Pro in 2018-19
F20C custom CP pistons and Rods 10:1
No Idea on how to attain the serial number for my ECU.

Did you try using the Hondata/Omnipower quick select for the map sensor calibration?

Yes. Used omni/hondata map sensor selection. scalar 838 offset 31. Fueling a bit off with short term trims adjusting for it and only seeing 6.4 lbs of boost. I have no idea what my old map sensor is. All I know about it is the previous settings which were scalar 838 offset -75. I was hoping someone could extrapolate if my old sensor was a 4 bar as well. I think it was according to the max volt psi conversion which was 48. The car runs like crap with the new sensor and old map settings but runs fine with the quick setting

There is no one in the Northern Virginia area that can help me. I've made numerous calls. I tried to call Evans tuning but no one picks up the phone. Inline pro, has moved locations and they are unable to help me. Is there anyone in the area that can adjust my tune other than Ptuning?
