Active knock control updates the ignition advance tables when there is knock in order to prevent future knock. The advantage over the stock knock control logic is that active knock control is pre-emptive and uses full sizes adjustment tables for much finer resolution that one overall knock control variable.
Active Knock Control Parameters
Under 'Knock Control' there are active knock control parameters.
Active knock retard enabled
This enables active knock control.
Active knock retard step
This is the amount of ignition retard to add to the table each time knock occurs.
Active knock retard max retard
This is the maximum amount of ignition retard.
Active knock tables
These are knock adjustment tables (low and high speed cams). They contain the ignition adjustment values.
