It is normally closed so that on failure you will run off the waste-gate spring to prevent over-boosting.  It uses 1/8th NPT fittings which can be adapted to AN fittings. If you are upgrading from a 3 port solenoid, the boost control tables will need re-tuning.

    The Hondata MAF 500 sensor replaces your Civic Type R (FK2/FK8) MAF sensor to increase the CTR MAF air metering range from 300 g/s to 500 g/s. With a stock MAF sensor you will reach the maximum range with a stock turbo, airbox and bolt-ons. When this happens the fueling becomes inaccurate. The Hondata CTR MAF 500 accurately measures 60% more air with the stock airbox, which allows you to tune up to around 640 hp. Installation involves unplugging the stock sensor and re-using the same two phillips screws to install the new sensor. A FlashPro modification file is provided with this sensor.   A must-have bolt on for the Civic Type R.

    Hondata FK8 Jailbreaker 2020 US Civic Type R

    This Jailbreaker temporarily bypasses the CAN gateway on the 2020-2021 US market Honda Civic Type R so that you can instant jailbreak the ECU. You do not need this product for the 2017-2019 US Honda Civic Type R or any other vehicle. You still need to purchase the instant jailbreak. The Jailbreaker device (not the instant jailbreak) can be used on as many vehicles are you like. Instructions Update FlashProManager to the latest beta version. Do not attempt to jailbreak the ECU if the ECU is in recovery mode.  In this case return the ECU to stock and verify it is working. Pull the left side of the lower dash free.  It is held in with spring clips and will come away without much force. Locate the stock CAN gateway. It is on the same wiring as the white and the blue connectors which plug into the lower dash. Unplug the stock CAN gateway and plug in the Jailbreaker. Using your FlashPro perform an instant jailbreak as described here. Unplug the Jailbreaker and plug back in the stock CAN gateway. Push the lower dash back into place. Drive the vehicle a short distance to clear any problem codes.
